i haven't taken it apart enough to see what they are or what shape. possibly in a couple of days i can get it apart.
the front fenders did not make it through the removal process of the cab and engine. it wasn't purposely done but someone was leaning on them and the one just happened to bend.

Toys... None of these motors have roller rockers. They do have roller lifters...

from my observations most of the factory turbodiesel trucks have grenaded their internals like the pic.

i'm not sure where the flaw is at. iirc you have one turbo motor with a bad piston. Tanya went through two turbo motors with bad pistons. I've seen plenty of natural motors that have destroyed their heads but the bottom ends are still intact and rebuildable.

well this isn't a turbo motor though... maybe tom i'll have it completely pulled apart and we can see what all happened. though this truck was on 6,000 mile or more oil change intervals as the mileage on the odometer was 258,000 and the label said next change was at 264,000. dont know what kind of oil was used.
