just discovered that my pump on 91 f250 7.3 diesel is leaking out the weep hole. Any advise on replacing the pump I need to get this fixed before the IDI rally.

One important thing is the top 2 bolts---they are "shorter" than the rest!

Failure to re-install them in their correct place will damage the timing gears!

When re-filling the coolant...loosen one of the heater hoses at the firewall and be sure the hose is actually loose/free....this will aid in bleeding any air from the system...after starting wait till coolant seeps from the loosend hose before tightening the clamp.

Fan hub threads are LEFT hand...others will chime in as to their favorite way of removal tool choices that range from a BFH and punch to air chisel to the correct fan hub tool that you can buy for about $40 :D

Hope this is of some help

positive but what do you think? the front of the engine below the water pump was wet with antifreeze and the source was coming from or around the weep hole but it stopped and it looks like the fluid is still swirling in the rad and I'm not losing any coolent
