so i was walking by a 1048 New Holland balewagon today and a light came on. they run a 361ci industrial FE series Ford bigblock, here is the "hat" that they run for the air cleaner.maybe it could work for an IC system, i think it has a 3" inlet

I'd be concerned about getting rust flakes and paint sucked through the intake.

My only question is will it hold boost? If it can hold 10-12 psi without leaking then it should work just fine.

hey jake id half to second that one just for the fact that its crimped to gether sheet metal
but in reallity that set up just might work and just gave some new ideas ;Sweet
good find:thumbsup:

we have several aftermarket companies we get parts for thiese from, i am going to check it out. i can't get away with that particular one though. all it could possibly do is blow past where it seals on the bottom or separate the seam
