I need to get a new injector pump fpr my 90 7.3 IDI who makes a good one ? The place here is Savannan (testmasters) wants 550 to rebuild mine

He offers the "Moose pump" which is a turbo calibrated pump, and is a really good upgrade. He also does the "Baby Moose" which is just a high end rebuild of the stock pump. You'll have to PM or email him for pricing and availability tho.

The cheapest injection pump on ebay is not a good pump so don't buy from a "place" in Tenn that could careless about you. Some have had great luck with Pensacola from Florida and some have not. I personally have had no issues with their pump. I do run a Moose pump most of the time and its fantastic. They work best with a turbo and really need an intercooler to get all the vavilable hp from them. In Az there is an ebay seller called hectorwith injectors. They sell a god pump at a low price. Mel would be my first choice for any pump because his builder wil not cheat you on some worn out parts. Mel knows what it takes to rebuild a pump with oem parts and these cheap shops can't do a quality rebuild for the prices they are chargeing. typ4 will help you as well as Mel will too. He knows these pumps and the turbos too. He is very good when it comes to rebuilding a pump. He also offers the typ4 cam. Its really a great upgrade to our engines.
I also went with Type 4, am super happy so far. Saving up for one of the Moose Pumps!!

They are a pretty large rebuild shop and their place looks like an operating room in a hospital. I have gotten injectors,pumps and glow plugs from them for my tractors and bulldozers and they have all given me great service. I didn`t know if there was something really special about a baby moose pump that would make it so much better.

What is the difference in getting my pump rebuilt and buying a moose or baby moose?

Someone will chime in on the upgrades made to the baby moose, as far as I understand it, its just a "better quality" stock pump. which is totally something I would be into. because Im getting tired of replacing pumps that have only been in service for 150,000miles...with an additive!!
