Any suggestions for a reasonable priced quality rebuilt pump for a 6.5 NA Engine?

I get mime mail ordered through Typ4/Russ's supplier. nothing fancy, but never a problem. that's important since the 6.2/6.5 requires quite a bit more work to swap out pumps.

Is there even a tiny chance of weaseling the PMD out of there w/o pulling the intake? I'd love to move mine to an external heat sink before it burns out again, but I'm not comfortable working on diesel engines - certainly not one that runs as well as this one does right now. Is there an exploded diagram available?
...i could unplug it and plug the stock one on the pump and keep driving.
So there's enough room on a fully-assembled running engine to get at the PMD connector?

You can get the connector off of the PMD without pulling the intake. You will not get the old PMD off of the pump though. Get another one with a big heat sink and extension harness. Mount it outside of the engine bay. Most people put it behind the bumper.
