I have one injectore that I can not get to seal. I have cleaned the seat and sprayed it with brake cleaner and used a new copper washer and it is still blowing compression by it. Any ideas? Thanks Paul

Sounds like you have a cut seat in the head. Was this blowing by compression before you changed that injector?. What you need is an injector seat cleaner. Its a metal reamer that makes a slight cut on the cast iron seat in the head. I have two seat cleaners but they are both loaned out at this time. Maybe another member has one to loan. I will call in my loaned reamers if the members are done with them. Are you useing a torque wrench and getting 35 lbs of torque.

Yes I believe this was leaking with the old injector also. Yeah we got them at 35 ft lbs and it leaked. Will over tightening cause them to leak also?

Overtigtening is not a good idea. Solve the cause of the problem, and not the symptom.
