The 44hd knuckles are a direct swap onto a regular 44ttb in a bronco. I couldn't remember what it was called. The 50ttb knuckle will mount after reaming the tapers so the ball-joints will fit.

You'll also need the 50 stubs to mount onto your old inners. Also while yes I did do it and it worked for me if I did another one I would still mock everything up first before I started modifying the beams to make sure.

Just went and checked some of my notes. The 3850 lb axle was a direct swap to a bronco 44ttb. The 4600 knuckle needed the machining.

Assuming the 3,850 is the 44HD and the 4,600 is the 50?
I think my buddy's truck with the Dana 50 front says 4,600 on the door jamb sticker.

I'll look at the wrecked truck down at my old job in the morning when I finish the headgaskets job I'm doing down there. The 50ttb is the one with the dana 60 hubs on it. I personally haven't done more than ball-joints to a ttb in a few years all my trucks but the Bronco and the Flatbed have 60s in them. I did this going on about 10 years ago.
