I wouldn't trust any factory trailer wiring harness and you shouldn't either.

Best is to run a dedicated HOT to the brake-box and then out to the trailer-plug, 12AWG minimum, with 10AWG being better.

I already have mine wired direct from the battery and a dedicated 12g wire to the trailer connector. When I found the factory harness, it appears to have a 10g wire for the brake booster. Why wouldn't you use it?

If it is like any of the rest of Ford wiring, I would just not trust it, until I pulled every inch out in the daylight and inspected it against my standards.

I also dislike having an abundance of "plug and play" connectors in any important system; I like my stuff hard-wired.
