Hey Punk,
I didn't bypass it, that's crazy! I have a 40 micron inline filter between the selector and the Holley, and a 20 micron NAPA in-line just before the IP. Do I really need more than that??

20 micron is too big. 11 is the minimum for the pump to live.

Thank you for the heads up, I'll pick one up on the way home from work tomorrow and install it. I asked the guy at NAPA and he looked in the book and quoted me all kinds of fuel filters that had much higher numbers. I actually thought I was doing good and was worried about restricting the fuel flow. Just out of curiosity, how is that 11 micron number decided upon, and what micron rating is that pain in the ass stock filter set up?
