hx 35 rebuild part?

Rebuild my hx 35. There is a large o ring that goes between the compressor housing and backing plate. I cant find this part anywhere. Some hx35s have it, some dont.

any ideas?

Maybe see if Typ4 has anything.
Or hit up some cummins forums. (Bad idea lol)

Just went through trying to assembly a hx35 with that o ring installed. Came with my rebuild kit. Could not get it to go together. Did some reading and determined that most hx35s done have that o ring. Mine is fine, fits tight and builds boost without it.

hmm ill just reuse mine then. thanks.

I friggin rubbed off the mark on teh shaft to align everything so now gotta get the rotating assembly balanced. Anyone know a place near MI? or willing to ship. Ive read abotu 25-35 to balance, but also seen 100..not cool with that.

I have to pay 70.00 for every turbo to be balanced, and thats a wholesale deal.
100.00 is normal. Sad to say.
