How much vibration with your SMF?

I have replaced my DMF with a SMF and I get a very noticable amount of vibration. At 700 - 1000 RPM and 2300 + RPM it is the worst, but noticable at some other RPMs. The gear pattern on my stick shift has always turned. Now it turns and produces an audible vibration unless I touch it. The large piece of plastic around the instrument panel, right above the steering column will vibrate audibly if I don't put a finger on it, becuase it isn't attached properly.

I'm thinking this has got to be more vibration than I should be having, but thought I should find out what sort of vibrations others have with a SMF?

My IDI doesn't vibrate too bad, but I've never had a DMF so I can't compare the two....It almost sounds like something is out of balance...Hopefully someone here who has had both will pipe up soon.
