I've towed a 35' GE site office trailer a short distance, a stalled Peterbilt dump truck up a short hill (broke the yoke off the rear axle), a 40hp tractor & implements on the highway, an 18' trailer load of cinder blocks, and another Bronco with mine. I've hauled an upright piano (with the top off, of course). The most I've tried to haul was a full pallet of wet 6' dogears on my hitch hauler, but the front wheels came off the ground, so I had the forklift take it off and came back with a little trailer.

I haven't towed anything significant with the dually yet. I just discovered that my father managed to break the factory Cl.IV receiver, so I've removed it & ordered a new Curt Cl.V.

Friggin' zombie thread... :D

Heaviest load in a semi: somewhere around 92-93k
Heaviest load with a pickup: 15500 every year with a 98 K3500 6.5L (N3H wagons)
Heaviest load with one of my pickups: hauled my wife's sisters car with my 1/2 ton, total was 11420lbs, no brakes on the trailer, in the winter....scary stuff and i'm glad it was a 12 miles one way trip....

My record was probably a 14,500 lb forklift on a 3500 lb trailer with my 550 gallon water tank in the flatbed to keep the truck on the ground when loading. 4000 lbs in bed of 7400 lb truck means 29,400. It did pretty well considering.

That forklift put a hole in the floor of my trailer.

I hauled a 96 Dodge 3500 dually 12v on a 25'+5' gn from someplace near Kzoo, Mi to Eaton OH with a 05 Dodge 1500 Hemi....got 7 mpg lol
Hauled the same 12v with my 6.7 cummins back and forth from Oh to Mo a few times with a bumper pull. Towed a 85 k1500 reg cab long bed 4x4 on a bumper pull with a 07 Dodge 1500 from Mo to OH in ice and snow, not fun! moms 2000 F150 with 60 small bales of hay+2horse slant trailer. Havn't tested out my 6.9 yet but soon. Tow 80,000lbs of trailer and bombs to flight line from bomb dump with MB4 aircraft tug daily.

Ill add my pictures. My 85 F250 IDI has towed alot and very heavy. Pics below and a weight slip from running doubles with scrap iron. I have tons of weight slips. Avg 16-17k unloaded with truck and 25' gooseneck. My 6x6 weighs almost 20k. TD-14 dozer was grossing 34280, empty 16000, weight 18280.
Wood was 34k grossing. The doubles pic my rear trailer is 4900lbs empty. The bobcat 435ZHS excavator is 10,280lbs by itself. Maybe a ton or 2 on the rear trailer in the pic.
