Help removing hub

We have all done something similar at least once. Make sure it is not crooked before giving up.

Remember the chain trick? You can do it to this, too. You need something that you can jam into the race and will hold the chain at the same time. Or a piece of wood or aluminum or brass that you can use as a beating bar. But don't hit it hard, just rap it enough to see if it moves. You only have to move it a quarter inch before you will be able to get a drift on the edge. Or, order another and grind away.

Which race...inner or outter?

If it comes to it, weld a bead all the way around the center of the race. Once it cools it should shrink it some.
Or freeze it with air duster.
Did the old races look bad?

I was going to suggest this. If you drove it in tight before realizing, you are pretty much SOL for saving the race I would think. If there is a gap at all, a slid hammer with a seal/bearing puller on the end might be able to grab it but that's questionable. I would probably order another race. Take a dremmel or die grinder and grind a couple flat spots enough for a punch to rest on in the tapered surface and drive it out.
