hey new to this hope yall dont mind my question is i have an 03 F250 4x4 lariat i have an hesitation on my take off everthing is stock how can i fix this and is it normal

The Powerstrokes have a little hesitation on take off until the turbo spools up.
If it's real bad, like no movement at all when you mash the pedal, then take it to a dealer and have them run a diagnostic on it to look for trouble codes.

Do you know the maintenance history on this truck? When was the last time the fuel filters replaced. I have found with my 03 if I don't change the filters at the 10k mile interval I see a performance hit and it smokes on a hard acceleration. I also notice some sooting on the rocker panel and bumper after towing when the fuel filters are getting old. Also, does this only happen when the engine is cold, or all the time? Just a thought.
