HELP! I Need help FAST!

I found a set of wheel adapters (bolt on style) that bolt to the front hub and allows you to run the backspaced dually wheels up front. $100 for the pair!!!!

The only problem is that they are bolted to a Dana 60 from a 1996 Dodge Ram 3500. Will these have the same bolt pattern as my 1992 Dana 60 that is under my F250 now? I think they have the same bolt pattern, but I have to ask to be sure!!

I have to tell him tonight that I want them, so the faster you all call me crazy for not knowing the answer, the better!

same bolt pattern but idk if they are the right width spacer. i dont see why they wouldnt be though

Same bolt pattern on both ends. Dunno if the opening in the middle will be the same, but that can be sorted out on a lathe. I'd buy them, and if they don't fit resell them.

Except for that communist metric Ford crap that came along in later years, anything 8-lug Dodge will fit a Ford and vice-versa.

Chevy/GMC are the exact same bolt-pattern, but the center-hole is a bunch too small to clear the hub-centers on Dodge or Ford.


This is all stuff you learned in 1st Grade; you just did not retain it well.

Do you sometimes turn on the stove and then leave the house ??

Have trouble keeping up with keys and such ??

I think they are the same. Only thing I can think of would be if the offset is different. And the center hole size.

Measure the width of your dana 60 and then the Dodges. If the hub faces are the same width apart, the spacers should do the same thing on both trucks.

Just for the record, ANYTHING 8 lug dodge will not necessarily fit an 8 lug Ford. I found that out on the side of the PA turnpike when the Dodge wheel on the spare would not fit over the hub of my Dad's 97. The center hole was just a hair too small.

I never knew that any 2nd generation Dodges came with a 60 under it. Learn something new every day.

Are certain that wheel was in fact a Dodge and not a GM wheel ??

What year-model Dodge ??

Later model SRW Dodges do have a hub-centric wheel that does not have conical lug seats; these are flat-flanged and have flanged-washer nuts; the bolt-pattern remains the same.




1989-1993 Dodge/Cummins 4x4 = genuine king-pin Dana-60 front axle, locking hubs, all the good stuff.

1994-1998 = Dana-60 but with un-servicable disposable direct-drive hubs, no lockers, and troublesome vacuum-operated axle engagement; so far as wear and mileage is concerned = no better than full-time-4x4.

Any later than 1998 is a bunch of electronic computer-control mess that I neither know nor care anything about.

Be sure and get all the nuts, both the inners and the outers.

That 96 Dodge should have hub-centric wheels and flange-washered nuts.

I ?think? the center-hole is the same as a 1985-up Ford hub-centric; but, I would talk him out of the wheels just to be certain.
