Ok guys so about two and a half weeks ago I was at my local auto store doing alittle bit of shopping And ran across some heat wrap so I figured wth.
Bought some heat wrap and stainless steel locking ties.
Next day pull my two up pipes off wrap them and reinstall them. Go for a test drive and wow I should have done that when I put the turbo in spooled much faster. Before hand boost was at 6 pounds 7 if really working it 80mph + now boost hits 8psi. 9psi really working it. Well worth the money and 10 minutes of my time to wrap those pipes.
Two questions tho. 1 how much will wrapping the down pipe make and 2. Been worrying about this one what do you do when it rains those things have got to get wet right?
Oh and there's was about a 100deg drop in egts full throttle around 80mph
