Mel, you could swap it out for the bolt-action, the lost farmer did offer one..
but frankly, with 200k on that 4r100, it's done.
That's why it feels so nasty.
If you put a lockup switch on it, you're going to:
A. lug the motor, which will irritate you even more
B. probably twist the 4th gear drum into a spiral..
I know you're not gonna want to hear this, but send it down to BTS and have him go through it.
If you convert it over to a manual, that's a lot of dicking around for something that at best, is gonna be something not originally intended by Nature..
