A VERY THIN smear of Ultra Gray on clean/dry surfaces works wonders...(I use acetone or Brakeclean)...notice how small the oil drain holes are in our heads > that's one place you don't want to be generous and sloppy with RTV!
Over tightening the valve cover bolts distort the cover and cause leaks.
