I saw some pics of Ford and GM brake boosters on Ebay, and they look reeeally similar.

I know where to score a free/cheap GM Hydroboost unit, and I was wondering if anyone can confirm that they are close enough in size to work with minimal modification?

I keep threating to pull the one off my '85 Cheby CC dually that is a sitting cream-puff.
Just needs few things, engine, tranny, tires, wheels, winders,,,,,,,,just few minor things
I'd be up for such a tryout. you do need to check the master cylinder mount spacing, the pressure port fittings and the pedal rod length.
I have an extra mount plate for a ford if you got a spare hydro:D

There are also an abundance of class-B commercial trucks in the bone yards, that used hydo boost braking systems. I know the International flat bed we have on the farm has a hydo boost system. I have'nt looked it over closely, but those may be an option also.
