I am sorry for the recent high amounts of posts, but you guys are the only ones I can get straight and good advice from.
I have done some research around the internet as to this problem, and couldn't find anything.

Have been working on it for awhile finally got around to cranking. Wait to start light does not come on and clicking is weird and erratic. And nowhere near normal. It has me stumped as I have not messed with any of the glow plug system. I was doing some reading and was reminded coolant temp has to do with the function of the Gp system. There us a plug on the front of the block it is a 2 prong connector, could that mess stuff up if flipped over.
Also I have yet to test GPS but they are less than 4 months old motor crafts. Gp solenoid is just over a year old as is all the wiring to the GPS? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated

if the 2 prong connector you are refering to is on the passenger side of the block near the t-stat, that is your high idle solenoid temp sensor.
its just a switch, no matter how you plug it in, it should work. unless the switch is bad.
does the high idle solenoid kick on when you turn the key on?

ok good to know. I have no idea I am working on getting my injectors and stuff bled, as you also know I just went though that, never got to even close to firing. I only have time to work on it afterschool. I will keep you posted but sposed to hit -4 tonight and I don't feel like freezing too much. Kind of looking for where to start.

I feel like an idiot now. operator error, as in I didn't have the second battery connected. Man I hate those idiot moments, but hey its a learning curve. just happy I didn't have to throw money at it until I figured it out, and that it works perfectly now.

Hey IDIot so I went out there to try to start my truck today, and it was roughtly 25 degrees out. Either way I started off bleeding the fuel lines got fuel out of them, and then tightened down and tried getting it to start. All fine and dandy, but it never even came close to firing; I am a little stumped at that but oh well. I did notice that my wait to start light would stay on about 16-17 seconds as it always does, but that I don't hear a click until 33 seconds. That seems way to long to me...heres the kicker I waited till 45 sec and never heard another click. I did see my voltage gauge come to about 8 on the factory gauge after the click, but never heard any more. After 47secs I got scared and turned the key off. I have never had it stay on that long. next I promptly checked all my gps and they all light up perfectly. So I was like ok might as well give it a shot. I tried cranking it again. and then 2 more times trying to get her to fire. With no luck. I did decided to check my fuel to my injectors, and I barely loosened em, and I could hear the pssst of breaking of the pressure seal and had diesel come out of the top. I am kinda lost Any suggestions? and I did wait anywhere between 2-5 min in-between cranking cycles. I also would hook my car up to it and just let it idle to help keep the batteries able to crank in between cycles but not while. I even changed the fuel in my fuel filter before all of this. I didn't want any possibilities of water or condensation in it so I unscrewed it and went and put fresh diesel in it.

I also noticed as I was cranking every once in a while I would hear a puff of air from somewhere in the engine bay I was by myself so I couldn't pinpoint it. I did not have a air filter on it .... But I doubt that would make a difference. Seemed like it would happen once a full revolution of the engine BC it was rather slow. Am I missing something.... And if I need to just get it to fire I can always pull it till she fires.... I don't like doing it but if that needs to be done I will do it.... But then I think about Also that is not the right way and it should just fore up bit idk

The GP controller is NOT controlled by the coolant temp. It's controlled by the GP resistance and ambient temp of the controller. The ON/OFF cycle can be as long as 2 minutes, the heat cycle time of the GP's at your 25*F should be about 15-17 seconds. Without charging you batteries, after a crank cycle, check the battery voltage, it might be down as low as 10.5 volts but slowly come back to ~12.5 after about 10 minutes, if it don't do that then one or both of your batteries may have a shorted cell. The engine should crank over about 250 RPM with good fully charged batts and and a good starter. If your using 15W40 oil, you might want to change it to 10W30 for winter where your at, sure speeds up cranking. You can cycle the GP's 2 or 3 times to heat the precups, shouldn't hurt anything.
Did the truck ever run since you got it? By that I mean, the timing may be way off.

no when I sent my ip and injectors off it ran like crap but I had had it previously timed. before I took it off I scratched in lines to get it hopefully right on. But Good old diesel care and performance said they just tested the ip... I do know I got my pump back though because of the marks I put on it.

Now that you say that I feel like a idiot. I know better than the gps are run off coolant temp. Also I do have rotella 5-40 synthetic to go in once I get it running... but I do have 15-40 delo in it now. I charged the batteries overnight and tomorrow I will get to try it all out again.
]But if I am understanding you right it is ok to let them gps's cycle until they fully heat up. I thought that if they were on longer than 35 secs it was ******* em.

by on/off cycle you mean the clicking on and off right... I have always had a normal click never it wait 33 sec to make the first click. it has always been around 15-20 sec and then 2-3 secs in between clicks. and in failing to pay attention I never even checked for smoke coming out. so I will keep you updated when I try it next and also I will check voltage next time but about 4 months ago I had my batteries checked and since then they have been in a 72* apartment fully charged.
