390 parts are hard to come by. Somebody might snatch that up. In a past life maybe... If that is a CJ block... somebody will buy it if the numbers are right.

i got this engine with low hours in my 64 tempo v-drive boat.
some jerkey didnt install the wrist pin keepers correctly.
wrist pin scored the block pretty good. needs a sleeve IMO

i decided to take the crank and the rods (both of which were CJ)
and im stuffin them into a 390 block i had. FE410!
64 t-bird heads that have been hogged!
shes at the shop right now, im working on the guys 58 GMC, so he's gonna get her running so all i gotta do is drop her in.

Yeah, those second gen tbirds were ugly as sin compared to the first gen but they did have some great power plant options. My cousin sold his 66 I think it was with original 4 speed and I think it was a 428 car. Either that or 390... It's been too long. Should have bought it but I was much poorer then than I am now.

Ahhhh. Axel snappin, u-joint splittin 410 FE's. Should have put one in my bronco when I had the chance. Young and dumb and had to have a 460. Now I know.

this 410 will be pushin a 11 x 15 2 blade ;)
only 2 u joints ZERO wheel drive LOL
