IDIoit.. feel you on the location argument..... been crawling around under my project arguing with myself about ease of service vs vulnerability vs ease of plumbing for a few days .

only need a 1 way check valve in my mind, so air don't feed back to the filter.
fed to the top of the tank..
this about the jist of it?
the tank is the only thing holding me back from throwin the bed back on
I have a tube style sender on its way,
going to do a fast fill mod along with a -4 an orfice connection.

IDIoit, definitely want to see how you access that stuff through the bed.
Food for thought on that...
I think a chest mounted to the floor of the bed could do double duty.
Hinge the floor for access under the deck, close floor and fill with tools..

So if you're not running a filter inside the engine compartment I would definitely incorporate a fitting at the top somewhere of the engine with an orifice in it returning to the return block at the back of the engine or the return line wherever you don't want that excess to go through the nipples and caps. Or you could do it at the last filter if they're both mattered on the frame just a tiny tiny orifice going back into the tank or even the return to the tank and it will always keep the air out of the system. It's basically copying the air eliminators from the fuel trucks that we dealt with for the helicopter company they don't want are going into the fast fill dry break because it surges The fill line for the helicopter, of course wer'e talking 2in line here but still the principle is the same.

That's the main reason I haven't really considered mounting batteries under the bed on mine. Although honestly, those worries are quite a bit different between a toy and a work truck. And also between clean-metal-cali and rust belt
Add a disco. Switch in the wheelwell as antitheft deterrant
