I bought this Motorcraft sending unit expecting to receive one for my front tank, instead it's for the rear tank.
This is a 2 wire unit used for 87-91's I believe it could be used on newer models as well..
This appears to be a newer design, as it uses a plastic float instead of a brass one.
This was bought BRAND NEW and used literally on one tank of diesel. its still in perfect condition. I tried to use it on my front tank but it did not work.

60 shipped anywhere in the US/Canada.

Pictures available on request.
Thanks for looking!

Nope, sorry I just need to get rid of the extra stuff I have laying around.
Thanks for the interest though.

Be advised that 80-86 senders are "upside down" compared to 92 and up ones. Not sure which way the 87 to 91 senders swing.

What do you mean upside down?

long and short of it. it reads in reverse of the 80-86 senders

example the 80-86 reads 10 ohms full and 80 ohms empty

the 87-92 would reads something like 110 ohms full 10 ohms empty

numbers are not correct just expressing the idea

Oh yes i know this but remeber i have a 89 model dash and gauges, so i use that sending unit, now i have one thatc from the 89 i robbed the interior from, but the problem is its worn and below a half a tank it kinda jumps around and when it get real low on fuel it starts getting real bad

Still available? this comes with everything to replace the tubes, housing, unit, and all correct? Just unscrew the one out of the tank and plug this one in?
