Ya the way the piece of frame sticks out on the bottom makes clearly some sort of after market job, whether originally Ford or Chevy etc. I don't see the factor leaving a piece of metal sicking out like that. Meanwhile, I'm looking for some newer seats at the local wrecking yards.

I stole the interior. Got front and rear seats from a crew cab Amarillo with center console for 500 bucks. Fronts are 6 way power heated seats. I will be grafting them into my 85.
