Yes, You can split gears with it.

Go to Gearvendor web site, and there is a lot of info on them.

That looks just like the one I pulled from a 89 F-250 with a C6 in Oct. First I have ever come across in a JY.

Farmer Rock, you can use a 2 spd shift switch for a 2 spd axle on your shift lever.
Or with an auto, there is a Dimmer switch you can use.

Lots of YT vid on guys shifting them. Cool little unit.

This unit was on a C6 trans.
I pulled one off a wreck that was connected to a C6.
I want to install on my T-19 2 wheel drive.

You will need to purchase the correct Adapter for your transmission.
Called GV, guy said I could send in mine for a core, and purchase the new one....seems like the guy said $700.
There are used adapters that come up on CL etc... every once in a while.

Still for sale, Yes, It will work, but you'll need a C6 adapter.

This was in a 4x4, correct? From the op, looks like this was bolted to a c6/1356 combo, meaning it bolts to the 1356 transfer case.
