Electrical gremlins at it again

Well i replaced both the external regulator and the alternator in my '89 (LuLuBelle) the other day when the trouble light activated. Well, today the light came on again but this time the voltmeter did not register low. Me thinks its a grounding issue cause I know the belt is new and snugged up good.....what say ye?

The lightgreen/red wire going to the "I" terminal on the regulator is hooked to the dash light. Concentrate your troubleshooting with that wire and the plug at the regulator.

Alt grounds through the mounting bracket.
Other grounds are how clean?
