I really don't want to change my axle out unless I have to. Could u steal everything off of one that has disc brakes?

Brian, did you put this kit on your truck? I seem to remember this. How do you like it?

Did you need a proportions get valve? I have the large bore h-boost master cylinder and it wears my rear shoes quicker than I think it should....

yes I have this kit on a single rear wheel.
I like it so far.
ive towed 7k with it and didn't have an issue.
I have a hydroboost, new Fsuperduty master, and a adjustable proportioning valve.
I set it to where im doing 25 mph on a sand road, and they all lock up at the same time.
all ABS deleted.
8700ish GVW before the rebuild. w/ 6 doors.
I really havnt driven the truck much.
mostly the E350 do to other issues.

Wonder if I could adapt it to a drw application. If I am thinking right, the mount bracket would need to move outward 1/2 inch to make the difference on the srw and drw brake show width.....

if a 1/2" is indeed the measurement, its completely do-able.
a sterling 10.25, is a sterling 260.350+mm .... right?

I wouldn't worry about it needing welded on.
Offroaders are always cutting and welding axles. Not many problems there.

I have been thinking about a similar conversion on my 91 F350 with a sterling 10.25. TCM(PN 2670) makes a complete kit for this application. Not cheap, but everything is included. Still on the fence. I know there might be cheaper avenues but it does save me a bit of time having to source the various parts, which for me is worth something.

yup, ive welded on many a caliper brackets as well, along with strong backs, shock mounts, 4 bar mounts...
as long as you don't use JB weld.
but everyone has their own way!
