Did Diesel Performance Specialists go out of business? Because i tried going there website and it woundnt come up. I wanted to try to get some stuff from them.
Think of injectors and the cylinders like a bucket and hose. The DPS injectors are like a fire hose. You get the fuel but in an uncontroled all over the place fashion that gets the job done fast sorta. The Moose and stockers are like a hosepipe.Nice,Clean, controlled, but slower and you don't waste tons of water to fill the bucket up.
If you like running at WOT 100% of the time and making lots of smoke then go with DPS.Now if you want Idle to 99% throttle also go with Moose parts or stock.DPS is only good if your drag racing and haul the truck to the track.
The DPS injectors i had on the cold start would smoke like crazy finally when the engine got warm it would stop smoking but it still idled ******, and poured black smoke like a train, and fuel milage was non existing
maybe you should watch my video's.
I would attribute half of that to your injection pump, and the other half to you trying to run those injectors in a N/A motor.

I got a set of them on a turbo truck. They suck unless your at WOT like everyone else has said.Truck shakes, runs rough, smokes, rattles, knocks, etc but it makes a good amount of power at the top of the RPM range.....Which I don't like cause I don't like driving a 4 stroke like a detroit(you get the illusion of high RPM) or a honda.
