Now thats a great find right there. Simple too. Last I checked out here a complete rust free diesel core support was less than 50 bucks. Anyone with welding skills and a modest shop sure could make this. Bet it would be less than 300 bucks in materials too. But for the guy that wants it already cut and ready.. This is a good find.. thanks for sharing...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The bird is the word.
Within the next year, be on the lookout for repop core supports......

Thanks for posting that up, Laserjock. This would seem to also provide an option to allow the use of a good, used or new aftermarket gasser core support and then convert it to diesel configuration.

That's what I figured. It would be expensive but it could be all brand new.

Dark side of the Sun.
What years are the same as a 87 with a/c?
Would a 88-91 with the 7.3 be the same?
I think they would but not sure at this point.

Heres a better question, Why in the hell can't they make a core support WITH a/c? Either all these retailers are getting them from the same Chinese factory, or Ford put the brakes on an a/c version being made. Then I saw this:

You must be registered for see images attach

Yeah....They slammed the brakes on it.

they only made a mess of things before the 9th gen trucks.92-96(and '97 hd) 9th gen trucks, they all had the one, large, tall radiator.despite having a/c or not.there was just gas or diesel.no more of the short wide version if the truck didn't come with a/c.
