cowl hood

I was thinking of putting a cowl hood on my truck and making it functional.
Has anyone tried this?

I have one, but it's not fuctional. Could be made so though, but it wasn't something that I wanted to pursue. Check out the products on the usbodysource.com web site.

5 inch cowl hood from VFN Fiberglass, the back side has a screened in opening to allow the fresh air in , I want to move my cone shaped Banks air filter up closer to the rear opening to grab that fresh air when time permits.

It's a bolt on, and it fit really nice with a little bit of fiddlin.
