Do I need this other then for cruise control, I don’t have cruise control can I delete it?

If it matters, which it might not, I deleted that on my Blue Truck and everything works just fine. Cruise never did work.

I thought the coffee can simply held a small reserve of vacuum for the system--not sure on intended purpose.

On my trucks 1984 without cruise and 1994 with cruise and parts trucks 1983 without cruise and 1990 with cruise , the coffee can is only on the trucks with vacuum operated cruse control (1990).
The 1994 has electronic cruise control and does not have it.

I always thought if I had to make up a new canister, I would make one up from an empty small camping propane bottle.
Fittings are readily available that could be modified to attach to a vacuum line

My 1985 F-250 6.9 with Cruise had the Can on the Drivers side inner Fender.
I took it off and 1/2 way into removing the cruise Control stuff.
Eventually get it removed.

I sent it to a member back east 2 or 3 months ago that was looking for one. Sent it for just shipping cost.
Hang onto it, maybe someone will be looking for one.
