Following Hypermax instructions I've removed the CDR valve, connected to the CDR is a 4 inch long rubber tube ( Rock solid ) which I can't pull off the valley pan. How is this tube connected at the V pan and should I just break it up and remove it? I can turn it round and round, is there a hardened grommet down there ???? Am I going to screw this up by prying and yanking?? Project stalled until I figure this out. LOOKING FOR HELP. Thanks

When i replaced my CDR that tube was rock hard also. I just got a pair of vicegrips and started breaking it piece by piece. just be careful you dont drop anything down into the valley pan. The new one just kind of squezes in there like a grommet and as it becomes hard you cant pull it out. Just be patient and keep at it. I see your in canada so maybe a heat gun would soften it up a bit. Maybe you could use a dremmel to slice it in half. I just broke mine so thats all I can offer you.
