I know its personal prefferance but I cant stand the newer bed with the older front clip. The wheel wells kill it deader than good friday for me.

How much lift does it have? Also, where did you get that hood?

They are sure proud of those hoods. The description sound like it removes the spring assistance in exchange for a single rod support?

Yup. But they are the only hoods that will ever go on any of my trucks. They are the only glass hoods that actually fits. I have had 4 of them on different trucks. And you do away with the springs and use a Mustang prop rod(supplied)

If you don't want to use a prop rod you could always get a hood strut kit.

That's what my brother used on his Mustang, he has a metal hood so he just attached them with self tapping screws, I think on fiberglass hoods you need to use rivets.

That dont work on these. You will snap the hood

How do the fiber glass hoods hold up to vibrations and running down dirt roads..
