Cat 3208 Pump

I was told to come here and talk to mel about the cat 3208 pump, I'm just wondering if anyone has put one of these v8 pumps on an old idi, thanks Mike.

I've never heard of anybody doing it on this site. But it would be awsome if someone tried it, I bet one of those mothers flow twice as much as our pumps stock .

I went and looked at one. It would be a bit of a machinists job to put on on. I haven't held one in my hand, but it looks a good bit bigger. Of course you'd need all different lines and I'm not sure which way it rotates.

i thought there would be a problem with hitting a stock intake?

I imagine it would, which would be another reason why you'd have to do some serious machining to mount it. I think you'd need another gear tower.
