Hello, with $5 diesel a reality, I see that lots of people have found creative ways to filter and burn WMO in their vehicles.

I don't own a diesel truck or car, but I do live in a large house in the Northeast that is heated with a fuel-oil burning boiler system. On an average year, it takes approximately 2000 gallons of No. 2 fuel oil to get through the winter. As you can imagine, a $10,000 heating bill is pretty scarey.

My dad owns a large farm and small construction company, and I have access to lots of used motor oil and ATF. I would like to know if I it is possible to filter the used oil and blend it with No. 2 fuel oil to burn in my boiler. Even a 10% mix would save me close to $1000 dollars.

thanks in advance.
