Is my cam in the lowest position?, replacing lift pump.

I can't tell you from the picture but if you put the pump on and it rests against the block you aren't on the cam. Even in the lowest position there will be some spring tension but you will be able to thread the bolts in then use the ratchet to tighten the whole thing down.
Personally I never even bothered with the cam position, I just stuck the pump in and pushed real hard till my other hand got a bolt tight enough to hold it down. That rear bolt is a huge pain.

Agreed. Interestingly, much easier installing a block off plate than a fuel pump...

Not everyone wants an electric fuel pump...and the need to carry a spare. When they fail it's fun replacing it laying on your back with fuel dripping and running down your arm.

It looks , to me, like the lobe of the fuel pump eccentric is pointed down. This is not how you want it to be. It will make it harder to replace the lift pump.

What should it look like when cam is in position?.

You will still be able to see the aluminum of the eccentric, but there won't be a part of it that hangs lower than the rest. It's hard for me to explain. Maybe you could try to look for a picture of the eccentric online. If you could see what one looks like, you will understand the lobe part. Maybe someone with one laying around on or off of a cam can post a picture. Thewespaul? Typ4?

So i should see what the upper picture looks like?, as a correct position.

Yes. I believe that it is. I can't tell if it's all the way up since it's being reflected in a mirror (which threw me off in the first place) but you should be able to slide your new pump in there with little restistance. In Thewespaul's lower picture, it's in the "down" position.

Honestly, if you put the pump in correctly(put it in angled down, then twist upward into position), it doesn't matter what position the cam is in.
Worst case, you are having to tip the pump against the lift pump spring(because the cam is in the 'worst' position), but that's still not much effort really.
