The dash dimmer on my 89 bricknose is doing the inevitable infamous intermittent.

I like the dash lights full brightness anyways.

So instead of buying another dimmer that will sooner or later meet the same fate, I'd like to jumper the dash lights to the same circuit as the running lights.

Can anyone point me to a switch "pin-out" to cut to the chase of doing this?

Thanks!

You can use a jumper-wire and find out what you need to know quicker than it could be read about on here.

Just drop the head-light switch down where you can better see/work, un-plug the plug, touch a HOT test-wire to each terminal until the parking-lights/markers or the dash-lights come on; once one is found, tag it's wire and find the other.

Best is to clip the dash-light wire from the plug and splice it into the park-light wire, thus the rheostat is no longer attached to it and that portion from the fuse-block onward can be eliminated.

Myself, I would put the dash-lights on a little toggle-switch all of their own. :)
