i was removing my steering column and i had to disconnect the shifter linkage at the end of the column, well during the removal i ended up bending the end piece (stupid bushing thing) well looks like its a junkyard part and since i had so much trouble removing it in the first place ill probably end up bending another one from a junker. has anyone installed a floor shifter like a B&M shifter or anything along those lines or what do you recommend i do?

If it's the same as the one on the C6, I might be able to supply you with one of those.
