The way it is made with the steel tubes welded to each ring, there are no leaks.
If you cut, flair, and use rubber hose sections, then you have the eventual leak problems.
I have several Mercedes Diesels, and they have a metal barb on each side of the Injector with rubber hose connecting to ea Barb. And they eventually start to get wet and leak. At least it`s easier to swap the hose compared to how the IDI set up is.
