Bought a new truck and need help with acouple problems

picked this up acouple days ago.its a 2000 7.3 f250 4wd 6 speed truck with 218k on it.it was a grandpa truck.like it’s never been over 55-60 mph in its life I know the 2 previous owners. Well it has a hiccup to it when you get on it it’ll kinda buck.im kinda thinkin it may be the cps cause I swear I’ve seen somewhere that that could cause it.it runs great other then that.it needs a new steering column to but that’s a pretty easy fix

Change out the oem cps.

Check out the icp - change that too. Probably has oil in the harness.

I forgot the part where you said 200k+...


Go into valley and

rebuild that turbo (+ ww2 )
Delete pedestal
Hpop lines
Fuel bowl reseal
Hpop reseal


Then you should be good till the injectors get weak or when you need valve gaskets.

Drive it till you get more weird chit bugging you.

Go into valley and

rebuild that turbo (+ ww2 )

Hpop lines

Hpop reseal

Oh I know about all that stuff I’m planning on chippin it and the bucking I wanted fixed before I did that.

can you post a video when it does the hiccup?

I'd get the truck running and start wiggling the ICP and IPR harness and pigtail, also check the large harness that goes over the drivers side valve cover for chaffing.
