So I bought a Garret turbo from a junk yard for $100. Today I was looking at how I was going to install it, but it looks like there in absolutely no room for the turbo up pipes and the down pipe. How has this been accomplished on other builds? I have looked at some pictures of other people's set up, but it does not show how these two pipes are accommodated in that small of a space. Does anyone have any close up pictures of that and how I can do it? Any help would be much appreciated. I have also attached a picture that is marked up. I'm not entirely sure of all the parts, so just thought i'd ask.

Thanks guys!

(the image was too large, hopefully this works)

More info would be good, turbo kit, of a ford, chev, dodge, garrett turbo off a saab, what do you have? And if it looks like the pipes wont fit, you likely need cab mounts.

It came off of a 1989 Ford F350. It wasn't a complete setup. Pretty much just the turbo and the oil line connected, that's about it.

Ok looks like a 093 ATS with the better 3" downpipe. Did you only pick up whats in the picture, or did you get all the pipes? They fit in there, but you might have to "massage" the firewall for clearance. Or new cab mounts. Or both LOL

I only have what is shown in the picture. I called Conestoga Diesel about purchasing the up pipes and a turbo hat, but they were dealing with the huge snow storm, so I'll need to call them back. Thanks Runningaford for the threads, those look awesome and will be very helpful!
Unfortunately, when I got home from running a few errands today I noticed a bunch of fluid leaking, once I looked at it closer and smelled it, it is for sure my front axle seal. So i'll be dealing with that before I can get to the turbo just yet.
