When I first turn on my ac it blows good and strong. After about an hour it dies down. Where should I start looking?

If your talking about the blower motor( as the heading states ) id look at the resister and the plug to it,, with hi amps and time, the plug might be getting hot , slowing the voltage ...?? try unplugging the resistor plug,,, should be easy to pull off ( relatively)... look for the plug to have been melted or the wires to be burnt close to the plug... anyway, thats where id start,,, good luck..
ill check back when i can,, and see how your doing..

These are the wires going to the blower motor. They get pretty warm

You can see the connector has gotten a little toasty there. I'd put a better connector in and also make sure the grounds are clean

If the bad connector is generating heat and the evaporator is freezing up....... wouldn't certain logic say use a worse connector to generate more heat to thaw out the evaporator?.......or am I thinking about this wrongly?

Well the problem is, that connector for the blower motor doesnt sit in the hvac ducting, its in the engine bay.

Ok I may be missing what you mean by this statement, there is no way for it to freeze up without the a/c being on?

No it’s not my evaporator. I messed up. The lines and that round container under the hood freezes up

Maybe the system is slightly overcharged? Maybe it's just so good that you can't run it full blast all the time?

Dies down? Temp gets not as cold, or little to no airflow but can still hear the fan, or fan stops?
