what exactly does the spring pressure do, aint it basicly the different spring pressure would give you a harder shift just like a shift kit. im not a trans man never built one before until i bought my truck with a bad trans, ive rebuilt plenty marine velvet drive clutches and they are basicly the same princables as a auto trans.

It is more shift timing than firmness in the valve body. I have swapped them around before and there isnt much difference. You can usually get the proper modulator to set shift points correctly.
Technically ,yes they are different, functionally identical.

Id like to find a c6 diesel core, something i can rebuild. Anyone close to wv? it wouldnt matter the shape it was in as long as the case is good and it doesnt matter if its for a 2wd or 4wd, not trying to take over this topic
