Subject says it all. Last leg in air intrusion battle. Tried hose clamps, but sill leaking.
Best/good source for mixed plastic hose return lines

I need the return line. Engine to tank switch. On mine, it's a mix of plastic hard line and hose material. No idea how the transition works or seals. I'll check dealer. Pretty old truck, if they have them, I'll probably try to get 2 so I have one when they're all gone.

Not getting a lot of hits googling. Found the nylon one's (for gas engine - no return line) at LMC truck at 45$ per section. No way I"m paying that-besides they don't have the one I need. I'd just assume replace them all with rubber hose. Any issues doing this- assuming the lines from the dealer are super expensive or not available?

I don't think there's any issue in ditching the nylon lines. If mine develop a problem I wouldn't think twice about replacing them with Pusk-Lok and covering it with loom. I already bought some Bundy connectors that go from 3/8 hose barb to the quick connect fittings on the FSV.

When I couldn't come up with any good factory diesel fuel lines I ended up getting some decent fuel line off amazon and just replaced it. It's been a couple years and so far so good.

What would be best for return lines? Rubber or silicone hose?
Well if you are just talking about the return line on top of the engine then regular fuel hose is fine. I just received an order of Cohline 7x12 fuel hose for return lines. 7x12 metric hose is the original spec that the return line caps are designed for, and this is why 1/4 can be so tight--6.35mm vs 7mm.
