I have my converter on a switch, don't see how it's different from the BD controller other than that I cut and extended my harness, and the BD thing probably just plugs in somewhere... I have mine as lock-unlock only, no automatic PCM control no more, but I could wire it up for that feature as well if I cared to spend the extra few hours for it...
