Truck is an '84 4x4 c6 with 111k miles and the dash doesn't even have a crack in it.

Well its really interesting... Not a chance that rig sat under that tree and got those pine needles under the hood. My guess is someone died. Truck was moved outside under a pine tree and then moved under this tree. Very nice looking rig too. May be a good truck to purchase too. Keep this forum up to date on what and where it is. Might be someone wants it if you do not.

It was a friend of mines grandpas truck and he recently passed away so he is currently in Sacramento getting the inheritance stuff sorted out. Another friend of ours that's up there helping him is going to be buying it It looks like. He has stacks of Ford shop manuals along with it as well so I'll certainly be investing in some paper and ink for the copier
It also has a US Gear overdrive unit. Man, this truck was hooked up!!

Apparently not at all difficult. A cursory google search came up with lots of new availability and articles about them.

I'm more intrigued by the intake. Never came across even a photo of one
