lets try it again.
does anyone have a brand and part number for the seal snapon was asking about?
to help some of you get on the right train of thought, the seal must be around 5" or so ok.

to go along with this, can someone also please explain how the bolt is sealed that mounts it to the intake.
with my banks, there was a collar type seal around a washer which goes on the bolt of course and it seals it.however this wont work on the ats,as the ats center bolt hole is larger strangely.

Since I bought all of the ats IDI parts surplus, I have the ats seal for that, and a washer with rubber on it for the bolt, not ats but works better some of the bolts were a flange type with an oring, . pm me for more info.

yeah im finding this out.i might just do that Russ.
iv got to say though,i have to make sure i can find anything for truck asap,so i must need alternative, off the shelf or quickly orderable online overnight at latest parts at all times for this truck.so i must know all part #'s so they can be replaced in the future at a moments notice.

Then iwould recommend a spares kit. These parts I have are the obsolete ones with no usable part numbers, and I have the O rings by the hundreds so the prices are good, the hat to manifold seals will be the tough one, but I have 90 of them.

I wasnt thinking of a whole kit, just what you think you might need. Orings are cheap if bought correctly and thats why vitons are included with my return kits, I know they are the best and its worth it to sella part with no or at least less complaints/problems.

And my grandpa said someday pinching pennies will get you slapped, although his girlfriends name was penny. So maybe I misunderstood.
