When we get home I will post a bunch of stuff. I would also ask that if anyone has pics or video from the 2011 IDI Weekend that you would like included in the official rally video being produced by Irail Video Productions that you send them to [email protected]

I was happy with my numbers with the failing Holley Red. Near zero fuel pressure certainly hurts power......... lost 19 horse and near 60 ft/lbs.:D

Hey now! them's fightin' words right there! :backoff

:D

Nice IH pickup ! ;Sweet

Those thoughts when working on Corey's truck crossed my mind as well. After the Jon's truck finished it's dyno runs, I had to check them out to make sure Goldie didn't get beat by an evil spark plugger.;Sweet

Heath I'm right there with ya. After finding my fuel issues I was wanting to slide back to stumps to see how much my numbers improved because she was running strong after all the air was purged from the system. :)

Yea I thought so too, its soo tame and mellow inside with the 4 foot long glass packs, but oncee under load up in the rpms she sings a sweet tune!;Sweet

She's running strong, so strong that I had Mel cringing on the test run over blue mountain. He said that he didn't have any parts, in the Moose tail, to fix a piston with a hole in it.;Really

LOL Sweet!

Did Mel dyno the Moose Truck when he was done timing all those IDI's? I didn't hear about it if he did.

I don't know how many trucks I timed that day. I worked from around 10:00AM to 5:30PM with a 10 minute break for a quick hot dog. When I was done, I was done. Spent. In fact, the last 3 I was thinking it would be a real shame if I lost my hand due to being too tired to do it anymore. If I had wanted to dyno the Moose Truck, there was not time to do it. The shop closed up and the guys went home before I was even finished. I only got to see one truck actually dyno, and that was Corey's red one there near the end, when we did a little timing experiment. The whole dyno day was a huge part of the rally that got very little coverage unfortunately. And so many people showed up for it who did not participate in any other part of the rally, which was a shame. I do believe a fair number of people just showed up to get a timing job. It would have been nice if they had joined us in the show field on Sunday. I think we could have had over 30 trucks there.
