air intake questions

ok i have an idi and i want to add an air intake heater cause gps dont last long
so anyone have any info on the psd intake heaters i was thinking 2 or 4 of them would heat my idi but id like more specs thanks

dont really have any specs on them , other than none of my trucks have them, for some reason they dissapeared and a plug is in there place.

ok i get it yall hate um here does that mean id need more than a couple to make it worth while? i know they are supposed to reduce velocity and all

2 of them would be about the same as the grid heater in a dodge
as far as 1 starting a IH motor, a psd with no glow plugs and a working air heater will not start still
a psd with 4 glow plugs will
my old idi with 6 glow plugs started all the time

well im sick of the gps they burn out short and break off too much matience the good ones are discontinued and finding a goood 12v plug is hard too

The AIH isn't used for starting purposes. It's job is to cut back smoke while idling. So it would require a few of these gizomos to actually start the engine cold. Better off fixing the glow plugs. Way more efficient.

ya over on tds i got a few and some on here in the idi section
i held off on the build because i got on this site and realized theres a lot out there for it
so now im doing this bronco then putting the holset on my truck then that motor unfortunatly but i worked out all the math
