Happy New Year, IDI crew!

Haven't had much to share here lately... will stop in here more often in 2020.

On my IDI E350, recently heard a scary tinky/clacky sound from up front. Fan hitting aluminum radiator? YIKES?

Nope, fan far from radiator, and not wobbly. No slippy belts.

On my third looksee, here's a sheet metal bracket holding a negative battery cable, surely flopping around and pinging on various things in the fan's airflow!

Still have to get under and find where it went, but, hey: this van's been very reliable in 2019. No complaints!

Well this is funny my 92 e350 had the same loose cable. My motor was replaced. Maybe yours was out before.I have the same van except extended.

Yeh, pivot nut on back of PS pump was loose. Back on, tighten the nut, done! Yeh, engine out three times during the last 10 years.

Of course, the noise continued on a test drive. Onward, to the belt drive, but not tonight.
